About SIBL

Climbfind.com logo

At SIBL we work really hard to make sure we can keep the cost of entering low. With the help of the walls and our sponsors we are able to do so and with luck can continue to lower our prices in future rounds.

Why do i have to pay to enter? Organising and running each series takes not only a lot of time and effort but can also cost a lot of money. We hire out the each of the venues for a day when we run a comp and obviously walls need to be supported during that time. We also employee some of the best route setters in the business to make sure we set a great round for you guys.

When you think about it there is a lot of hidden costs included in running a competition like, Score cards, posters, pens, tape, route cards website maintenance and much more which all needs paying for.

As you may already know we hand out hundreds of free t shirts during every series and these make up a huge amount of our budget. The SIBL makes very little profit and anything it does make goes back into running it next year or improving the current series.

How much does it cost to enter the SIBL. We try to keep our prices as low as possible and i hope you agree this reflects in our 2009/10 tariff. Don't forget, sign up before the season starts to get a host of benefits including a cheaper rate and your free SIBL T Shirt.
